Valley Creations

Valley Creations reflects Steve Scott and Ruth Love. We both have varied interests and have spent our lives trying to make things better for all. We believe that by making small changes to the way that we all do things and thinking about interests outside ourselves, we can make things better. We have always carried out volunteer functions and tried to minimise our negative impacts on the world. The garden and all the other things on this website represent that.

Like all animals we humans are selfish. Unlike other animals we are able to hugely multiply our impacts. Unlike other animals we can also discuss what we do and could make decisions that minimise our bullying and negative effects. We have a responsibility to do that.

    13/04/26 Pleasant weather after a cold start. Ruth, Simon and I all pottering. Some sluggish bees about and everything changing fast. Between us we created a log pile from the defunct arch, mended a boundary fence, potted seedlings trimmed back a willow arch, cleared beds of weeds and mulched more tender plants, Cleared the debris from an earlier pond clearance and put it in the dead hedge…….
